To hire TikTok influencers, pick creators whose recent videos already talk about products like yours, agree the price and whether you can run the video as an ad, and pay in stages. In Kolect's 2026 data a TikTok creator with 10K to 100K followers had a $300 median agreed fee.
Numbers come from Kolect's 2026 benchmark report, opened October 30, 2026. It covers Kolect's own campaigns, so use it as a guide. Antellio is not affiliated with Kolect.
The short version
- TikTok is the lowest-cost platform at every follower size in Kolect's data.
- A typical sponsored post got about 53,000 views in its first month. That was 26% of the creator's followers.
- Views cost a median $6.73 per 1,000. The middle half of posts ran from $2.04 to $27.15.
- Ask about ad rights. Across platforms, about 4 in 5 single-post deals included paid-usage or ad-code rights.
- Pay in stages. Hold the money until you approve the video.
What TikTok influencers charge
Median agreed fee for one collaboration, in US dollars:
| Followers | TikTok | For comparison: Instagram |
|---|---|---|
| Under 10K | $138 | $250 |
| 10K to 100K | $300 | $400 |
| 100K to 500K | $500 | $600 |
| 500K to 1M | $550 | $1,095 |
| 1M and up | $1,000 | $1,599 |
Small TikTok creators are cheap, but results vary a lot. Views per post swing from about 10,700 to 190,900 for the middle half of sponsored posts, so a low price does not guarantee low cost per view.
Hire TikTok influencers in 5 steps
- Search by niche. Look for creators whose videos already mention products like yours.
- Read the last 10 videos. Check how viewers respond in the comments, and how often they post.
- Send a short brief. Say the product, the deadline, and what success looks like. Ask for a rate.
- Settle the ad rights. Ask whether the video can run as a paid ad, for how many days, and on whose account.
- Sign and pay in stages. Put posts, dates, and usage in a contract. Release payment as you approve the work.
Ask these before you pay
- How long is the video, and is that the final length?
- Is it organic only, or can I run it as an ad?
- If it can run as an ad, for how many days?
- How many revisions are included?
Put the creation fee and the ad window on separate lines in the quote. One lump sum makes paid use look included.
Keep payment safe
Paying the full fee upfront to someone you have not worked with is the riskiest route. On Antellio, the brand funds the deal into escrow and the money is released after you approve the work. Brands pay 5% when they add money to a wallet, and creators pay 5% when they cash out. See Antellio pricing or compare platforms in the fee calculator.
