To hire an influencer in Brazil, shortlist creators whose recent posts reach your buyers, agree the price and ad rights in writing, make sure the post shows #publi or #publicidade on the first screen, and pay in stages.
The advertising rule in Brazil
CONAR's guide to influencer advertising treats a post as advertising when three things are present: it promotes a product, service, or cause, the creator has a commercial relationship with the brand or agency (even a non-financial one), and the brand or agency has some control over the content.
Advertising content must be clearly identified. Where that is not obvious, CONAR recommends the platform's paid-content tool where possible, or an explicit label such as "publicidade", "publi", or "publipost", in a prominent spot and visible on the first screen without tapping "more". Its table recommends #publi and #publicidade. #ad, #adv, #advertisement, and #embaixador should be used with caution, depending on whether the audience understands them.
For gifts, trips, and invitations where the brand has no editorial control, CONAR's table suggests transparency expressions such as "#recebido" or a thank-you to the brand. Content aimed at children and teenagers needs extra care.
This is not legal advice. Check the current rules, and agree in your contract who adds the label and where.
What it costs
We do not have a Brazil-specific rate table. As a guide, the median agreed fee for one collaboration in Kolect's 2026 campaigns (global, in US dollars) was $250 for creators under 10K followers, $400 for 10K to 100K, and $600 for 100K to 500K. Convert to reais at the day's rate and treat the number as a starting point for a negotiation.
To price one creator, use the influencer rate calculator.
Before you book
Ask for the platform's paid-content tool, plus #publi or #publicidade on the first screen.
Decide up front whether you control the content, since that makes it advertising rather than a gift.
For gifted products with no brief, ask for a transparency expression such as "#recebido".
Take extra care if the audience includes children or teenagers.

Questions
How much does it cost to hire an influencer in Brazil?
We do not publish a Brazil-specific figure. Global medians from Kolect's 2026 campaigns were $250, $400, and $600 for creators under 10K, 10K to 100K, and 100K to 500K followers, so convert to reais. Use the rate calculator for a specific creator.
Do influencer posts need a label in Brazil?
Yes. CONAR's influencer guide says advertising content must be clearly identified, with the platform tool or labels such as #publi or #publicidade, visible without tapping "more". This is not legal advice.
Is a free product an ad in Brazil?
Under CONAR's three-part test, a post is advertising when the brand also has some control over the content. A gift with no control may still need a transparency expression such as "#recebido".
How do I pay a creator safely?
Put the scope, dates, usage, and price in a contract, and pay in stages. On Antellio the brand funds escrow and the money is released after you approve the work.
