Costs, the CCPC and ASA label rules, and a safe way to pay.
To hire an influencer in Ireland, shortlist creators whose recent posts reach your buyers, agree the price and ad rights in writing, make sure a primary label sits at the start of the post, and pay in stages.
The advertising rule in Ireland
The CCPC and the Advertising Standards Authority (ASA) jointly publish influencer guidance. Influencers must label commercial content to comply with the Consumer Protection Act 2007 and the ASA Code. The CCPC can use compliance notices, fixed payment notices, undertakings, prohibition orders, and prosecution.
Every commercial post needs at least one primary label, placed at the start: #Ad (or #Fógra in Irish), a platform label such as Paid partnership, or #Gifted (or #Féirín) for unsolicited products where the brand has not influenced the post. Secondary labels such as #Collaboration, #BrandAmbassador, #Sponsored, and #Affiliate are optional and may only follow a primary label.
If you are the brand, you are responsible for making sure influencer posts about you carry the necessary labels. In 2025 the ASA received 98 influencer-related complaints out of 915 in total, and it has agreed a data sharing arrangement with the CCPC covering influencers who repeatedly fail to comply.
This is not legal advice. Check the current rules, and agree in your contract who adds the label and where.
What it costs
We do not have a Ireland-specific rate table. As a guide, the median agreed fee for one collaboration in Kolect's 2026 campaigns (global, in US dollars) was $250 for creators under 10K followers, $400 for 10K to 100K, and $600 for 100K to 500K. Convert to euros at the day's rate and treat the number as a starting point for a negotiation.
To price one creator, use the influencer rate calculator.
Before you book
Ask for #Ad (or the platform's paid label) as the first thing in the post.
Use #Gifted only for unsolicited products where you did not shape the post.
Do not accept #Sponsored or #Affiliate on their own. They can only follow a primary label.
Check the live post yourself, since the brand is responsible too.

Questions
How much does it cost to hire an influencer in Ireland?
We do not publish a Ireland-specific figure. Global medians from Kolect's 2026 campaigns were $250, $400, and $600 for creators under 10K, 10K to 100K, and 100K to 500K followers, so convert to euros. Use the rate calculator for a specific creator.
Do influencer posts need a label in Ireland?
Yes. Irish guidance requires at least one primary label, such as #Ad or a platform paid-partnership label, at the start of every commercial post. This is not legal advice.
Can a creator use #Sponsored on its own in Ireland?
No. #Sponsored is a secondary label, so it can only be used after a primary label such as #Ad or a platform paid-partnership label.
How do I pay a creator safely?
Put the scope, dates, usage, and price in a contract, and pay in stages. On Antellio the brand funds escrow and the money is released after you approve the work.
