Costs, the AUTOCONTROL labels, and a safe way to pay.
To hire an influencer in Spain, shortlist creators whose recent posts reach your buyers, agree the price and ad rights in writing, make sure the post is labelled in Spanish and with the platform tool, and pay in stages.
The advertising rule in Spain
The influencer code of conduct from AUTOCONTROL, AEA, and IAB Spain (2025 edition) says advertising by influencers must be identifiable. Where it is not obvious, the post needs an explicit, immediate label. It recommends the platform's own tool first, such as "colaboración pagada con [marca]" on Instagram, plus a clear generic label such as "publicidad", "publi", "colaboración pagada", or "patrocinado por".
It advises against vague labels such as "colab", "sp", or "gracias a", and against labels in another language than the post, such as "Ad" or "Advertising" on a Spanish post.
Large creators face more. Royal Decree 444/2024 defines "usuarios de especial relevancia" under the audiovisual law: gross income of 300,000 euros or more in the previous year from video platform activity, 1 million followers on one platform or 2 million across platforms, and at least 24 videos a year. These creators count as audiovisual service providers, must register, and answer to the CNMC.
This is not legal advice. Check the current rules, and agree in your contract who adds the label and where.
What it costs
We do not have a Spain-specific rate table. As a guide, the median agreed fee for one collaboration in Kolect's 2026 campaigns (global, in US dollars) was $250 for creators under 10K followers, $400 for 10K to 100K, and $600 for 100K to 500K. Convert to euros at the day's rate and treat the number as a starting point for a negotiation.

Before you book
Ask for the platform's paid-partnership tool plus "Publicidad" or "Colaboración pagada" in Spanish.
Do not accept "Ad", "colab", or "sp" as the only label on a Spanish-language post.
With a large creator, ask whether they are registered as a "usuario de especial relevancia".
Agree who checks the live post.

Questions
How much does it cost to hire an influencer in Spain?
We do not publish a Spain-specific figure. Global medians from Kolect's 2026 campaigns were $250, $400, and $600 for creators under 10K, 10K to 100K, and 100K to 500K followers, so convert to euros. Use the rate calculator for a specific creator.
Do influencer posts need a label in Spain?
Yes. Spanish advertising rules and the influencer code of conduct require paid content to be clearly identified, ideally with the platform tool and a label such as "publicidad" or "colaboración pagada". This is not legal advice.
Do big creators in Spain have extra rules?
Yes. A creator who meets the income, follower, and video thresholds in Royal Decree 444/2024 is treated as an audiovisual service provider, must register, and is supervised by the CNMC.
How do I pay a creator safely?
Put the scope, dates, usage, and price in a contract, and pay in stages. On Antellio the brand funds escrow and the money is released after you approve the work.
